CTF (Capture The Flag) on our {CMM} Redeemer server ???

You Bet! - With a cool New Twist! (not just your normal CTF)
CTF on our {CMM} Server, BUT -> You Play with The STINGER II PirateDeemerCMM Redeemer Weapon mod though.

This is Not New to CMM - we have done this before.
CTF actually has been running on CMM for quite some time now, but I thought I should let everyone know. (again?)
A good number of our CMM regular players, especially Pandemonium ahem, and others that just pop in, just love to play it.
It is really a Gas (Fun) and has a lot of fast, furious and fun action to be sure. WHEW!!!

We have been running only a few CTF maps...

And the New X-Mas UT99.org CTF map - CTF-XC-SnowGlobe

NOW, We have added a few new maps to the CMM CTF line up now also.

Just an FYI, I have been working on a new version of the PirateDeemerCMM014 mod, to Add to the other great versions on the CMM server.
Basically, I have configured the PirateDeemerCMM014 mod to act a lot like a Cannon firing a projectile.
The Projectile would fly out at a set speed and timing, and it would also arc, or follow an arc based on the gravity setting of each map.

Essentially, my idea here was to create a version that is something like the old "Artillery Duel" games.
They were so fun!
This will most likely be a bit faster paced than the old "Artillery Duel" game, but will mimic artillery or cannon fire somewhat.
This may evolve into a TEAM Game of 2 teams that exchange Cannon or Artillery fire, and also "sprinkled" with regular fired "pesky" redeemer missiles.
Maybe even do some Maps that are set up with 2 team sides that are separated with a no-man's land between them where it is poison to cross between the 2 areas?
I have seen a number of maps already in existence that would fit.
Maps you can only fire Cannon or Artillery shells "lobbed" from side to side, in an effort to frag as many of the other team as possible.
I have also set it up where you need to re-load shells by going to get ammo at ammo dumps. (adds excitement)
I can limit the time that the ammo is replenished - this will eliminate the spamming of shells, and you will need to choose your shots and targets with a bit more care.
Etc. Etc. Etc.

We have been trying it out (testing it) on our CMM server for about 2 weeks now, tweaking, then more trying, until it is set up the best.
So far, all testers love it!

My Server is in last place, i will not argue this fact, we run three redeemers in a few maps of which two of them i have stolen from some guys down by the housing projects. In a few of my maps the bots are carrying stolen guns which haven't been registered. I have stolen a few mods because i'm a gangster. Our server was down for over two weeks, because i was at Myrtle Beach SC and i may be the worst admin in UT99 history, but i had a great time, except when greenpeace tried to drag me back into the water, but the buckets were nice, kept me cool So after about two weeks of being down, and another restart we will be moving back up in GT, We do not care MEAT if your server is ranked higher, because that doesn't mean it's better JUST PLAY THE GAME stop the bickering and enjoy the game.

OK - I think the {CMM} and {CLD} Server Redirects are FIXed now!
YES!!!
I tried them this morning after working with GameServers this past weekend and all seems good now.
Give it a try today and let me know to make sure it works.
I am So Sorry for any inconvenience you may have had.
I also Thank the many players who sent in the emails explaining that the redirect for fast downloads wasn't working.
This really helps us get occasional problems fixed.
