IRC Channel Information:

Server: irc.quakenet.org
Channels:

#monsterhunt - general monster hunt talking/discussion
#PMHServer - the servers reporter channel (talk to players who are playing on the server)

There are multiple ways to join an IRC server, first and foremost you can simply click the "Chat" link at the top of any page on this site, allow the warnings and you'll automatically be connected to the #monsterhunt channel.

Alternatively, if you plan to be on it a lot then I'd suggest getting an IRC client. One of my favorites and free, clients is mIRC. You can get it here: http://www.mirc.com/ I'd suggest reading some documentation and/or posting here on how to get connected.

If you just want to get on for a bit while you play, then you can join throught he built in Unreal Tournament IRC client. Simply click: Multiplayer | Find Internet Games | Chat then enter irc.quaketnet.org in the IRC Server field and change the default channel to #monsterhunt.

Another IRC applet loaded on the site, please click the Chat button at the top of this page and it will popup.

You guys should drop by the IRC chat sometimes. UT has a built in IRC client, connect to us when your playing.

I'm currently using the add-on for firefox called chatzilla & as in mirc, be on multiple servers at the same time. So far found it best to be in the channel #lobby, as the other one can get quite spammy from the UTserverbot.

P.S.- I also got it whereas if someone writes my name out, I'd get alerted (& replied to when I'm nearby).
