You big sissies, post a pic. If *I* have to live all my life looking like I do, you can't possibly tell me that you have any reason not to share a pic
I took some heat for the old goat shot, so here is the "other" Mrs. gopostal:
This was taken right up the road from my house. Winter storms push in from the Pacific and the waves can get pretty big ahead of the low pressure systems. Waves pushing 25-30 feet aren't uncommon, and neither is people getting washed away. My kids lost a friend just a little bit ago:

Not a place to screw around, trust me. We get people washed out every year, but hardly ever a local. That was sad, they should have known better.
It's a bizzare place to live weather-wise. We live pretty far north latitude wise (close to the 45th parallel) but it almost never snows and I don't own a heavy winter coat. The jet stream buffers the weather so it never gets above 70(ish) or below 40(ish) even in summer or winter. It rains like no other place I've ever seen though. A rain can set in and last for a couple of weeks.
Any of you guys ever cruise up 101 along the coast, give me a shout. I'll have lunch with you.
