how to build an elevator

hey guys!

I'm editing a map i started a while back and i'm trying to figure out how to make a working elevator, duz anyone kno how to make an elevator in steps? is it the same as making a door? i've used the door scheme and it didn't seem to work cuz the elevator wud either not move, stay stationary at the point where i want to be moved up to, or worked, but if i died or wutever it wudnt go back to the Base where i placed it.

An "elevator" in UT99 is really just a moving brush or "mover". Use the link that Skillz sent and look for the tutorial on movers. It explains it perfectly.
