map problem file missing np04hyperion

np04hyperion has a file missing it works up to one part then says tis missing a file called np05heiko or sumthing like that and i can fire my gun (but nto see anything) still and mvoe out of the area and it will work but past a certain part nothing. anybody know where the file is? its not with the download on here btw.

the map is not missing a file but it needs to teleport you to another map that you probably dont have cause this map is part of a singleplayer addon for unreal tournament called Operation NaPali
the map NP04Hyperion is part of that singleplayer addon but someone converted the map to mh and thats why you cant finish it

aww that blows the map was pretty good and well done for what i could do of it :( ok ill give up with it thx.

its called piedra+del+sol works fine bit dark sometimes no problems really just thought mabe the server might want more maps. ^_^

Yesh, I can recommend it, Master and I used to play that in Co-op over and over again. ..although the bastard really plays anything that has bloodshed in it..

ok the map still cant find the heiko thingy and what exactly is this operation na pali all it does is give me a unreal hud thats it? am i missing sumthing here?

Unreal hud yes, The music should be in it along with 20 or more single player maps.. you have to activate a mod called "Oldskool APM'd" though and I have to warn you, It will chrash you if you have any other background changing program installed.

i had oldskool ampd activated i click new singleplayer game have to scroll past all ma nd mh maps to find one np map that doesnt work? i dont see the point in the mod.

Let me see if I can explain this to you.

The map, np04hyperion, was NOT supposed to be a Monster Hunt map. This map is a part of a singleplayer/co-op mod called Operation Na Pali.

Somebody simply renamed the map adding the MH prefix to it without changing the map any. I'm pretty sure I know where this map came from. There is this one MH server that runs a ton of renamed singleplayer maps that are not designed for MH. People download these maps thinking they are new, but they fail to work since they are missing a Monster Hunt End.

The missing file you are having is the next map. Singleplayer/co-op maps are designed to be played in order. Maps have teleporters at the end that teleport you to the next map.

People are telling you to download the mod so you can play the rest of the levels in Operation Na Pali. I highly suggest trying it out, it is my favorite mod of all time.

May I request an admin to remove this map from any mappacks? This is NOT an MH map and it should never be fixed. ONP maps require most of oldskool along with many other files which ends up being too many files for one map.

I'm a huge fan of ONP and it's gameplay does not fit well with MH. I actually had a server (Dogs of War) going that had both ONP & MH using a mod that let ONP be used with mapvote. Players came for MH while others came for ONP so nobody was ever satisfied. ONP and MH should never mix!
