omg this sucks (probs gonna have to reinstall but with anthology thats not so good cause u have to uninstall them all!!! anyway

you can reinstall it and overwrite the old buggy version, just choose ut99 only and install to same folder, then all files will be overwritten without your downloaded files beeing deleted. You can backup your user.ini file to save some time after reinstall, don't use the old unrealtournament.ini file.

Though i doubt this error has to do with corrupted files .............. did you install anything lately?

no i havent really touched any uts recently ive been playing my newer games. and usually the install option isnt available when i have any games installed with anthology only uninstall but ill try again and thx.

Added after 8 minutes:

clicked install it only deleted my unreal anthology and lost me 7gb of downloaded content!!!!!!!!!!

man i think ill give up im not downloading 7gb again!

thy saviours name is system restore saved ma files but still no other solution to unreal problem but this time i can back up my ut

I don't think the problem is UT itself, the error message you get can also be produced by drivers not supporting UT's old engine? ... have you upgraded your videocard driver? try using an older verion and see if it helps? UT is an old game, it's not made for the super fast and new architechture chipsets of today, lots of information can get lost if the drivers doesn't speak exactly the same language.

the thing i dont get is that it worked fine i updated NOTHING and suddenly this... its annoying
