Hello. I've just set up a unreal tournament 1999 server.Everything seems to work.Servers up and running However my problem is getting to be advertised by the master server. Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks in advance.

This is for the players!

Open your games configuration file, usually gamename.ini (unrealtournament.ini), find the sections below and edit them as described:

Go to

Also, it is normal for you to Not see your own server if hosted from your own IP.

Hi Mendor.I'm sorry I have not replied back to you.Have had some internet trouble here in Florida. Want to say I had to register a new account.I apologize for this .Everytime I'd go to login it would tell me wrong user/pass(CrackerJax) was entered. I'd go to have password reset and forum would tell me e-mail I used to register with doesn't exist. I would try to use it again to reregister and get told it's already in use.

Not sure why it happened like that. Aside from that I want to say thanks for replying to my post here. I finally added the lines you told me to add. However server still won't link up to 333 networks or show in the ut clients list of servers. I have pasted a copy of my UnrealTournament.ini here in hopes if you don't mind, to see if I made any errors.

This server is running on linux and is a cloud server. I noticed you mentioned sometimes linux servers need a 4th line .Could this be why my server isn't linking up? I am not sure what the 4th line would be if I need it. Name of this server is Our Lair. Thank you for the help . :)

Hey Medor. Thank you for taking time to look at my ini. I wanted to say I was finally able to get my server linked with 333 networks.However it still doesn't show up in the list of servers inside the game client. This is a cloud server i'm running ut on is hosted with Linode. One more thing I have my server set to run ctf insta gib with zp,lms,dm and combo gib. I have the team color one but will be taking it off since red causes lag. Thanks ever so much for everything . :) :cheers:
