Re: Map Making - MH-SeekStadium

There's a setting under alarmpoint, "bnofail" which prevents the creature ever giving up. I only ever set this if the creature Absolutely must, without fail, reach the point or the map will break. And I never put situations like this where I think the Skaarj will possibly get stuck.

Re: Map Making - MH-SeekStadium

Tks for the link. Very usefull. Still, i dont see the need for Monster´s path. Not for the kind of map am doing. I have doubts to see AlarmPoints in these latest MH creations... hehe, I think finally I'll close the server because I didn't see a quality A.I. mapping for years. We just draw in editor...

Re: Map Making - MH-SeekStadium

So, if some1 has interest to "split" the map, i give the geometry parts, you add the monsters and hopefuly we can put a good looking map online. I'd generally say that the Geometry would be the hard part, not the monsters  Unless you also need it to be pathed? Monsters aren't really that diffi...

Re: MH-(ZM)Wasteland

Sorry I've been away for so long, Real life got a bit hectic. Anyway, what happened was I went to fix the file dependencies (They were useless, tied to an obscure, completely random event that, for some reason, I thought was a good idea to add in at last minute) and I thought "I'll just fix one or 2...

Re: CreatureFactory question

OLDWeapons were ported over from Oldskool Amp'd (Which is designed for SP, I.E OFFLINE play) so that's why it acts wierd in MH. If you want to use the Unreal 1 weapons, better to mylevel a copy and pasted script of the original weapon. War_Master, have you had a look at Asgard's UMS Space Marines mo...

Re: Counter Monster Hunt

What if I make monsters to hunt your WarShells like a cannon ? Will be nasty or not ? Knowing old 99 AI, it will probably result in Skaarj Melee-attacking Nuclear Missiles, which would be the most hilarious thing ever  Unless you could make it just with Ranged and from distance or something......

Re: MonsterHuntUT99 vs. MonsterInvasionUT2004

Invasion and MH are nothing alike... Can't really compare... It's like comparing DM and Assault :/

@Nelsona: I think by Oldskool Look he meant that it looks like good old UT99, whereas 2k4 has shiny new graphics :blue:

Re: AI pathes messing

Im having a interesting problem - while making MH-Brutes2 I tried to botpath the entire map but it seemed like creaturefactories and monsterspawns crash the pathnet when connected. Is that generally true ...? :ugh: When you add them, MAKE SURE YOU REBUILD, no matter what it is. Unbuilt Paths will C...

Re: Grave of the Machine

Grave of the Machine ENDFIX After playing through on the Mapping Server with Fazi and Demona, I found some (more or less small) Bugs/Gameplay/visual issues, and so I repaired them along with a couple of other things some other people have reported. Changelog: EndFix: -Fixed lighting in Piping pit t...

Re: UnrealEd Problem

It's becuse you installed it under Program Files.

UT can NOT have Spaces ANYWHERE in it's ANYTHING, it doesn't support them. Yay for old engines.
