Sheet the size of your gap

Cube 16/32 breadth (or more if it's "thick glass") and a few (8/16) units less height and width than the gap for the glass is.

Add the sheet as glass under Add special >> Glass.

Add the cube as an ICH under Add Special >> Invisable Collision Hull

Job done.

The ICH is there so people can't walk through the glass, the sheet is there for the physical representation of the glass. Don't use boxes for both as it creates BSP holes along the seams of it.

Also, you can change the sheet into glass by just changing the texutre options, I'd advise that mainly because adding something as a predefined special seems to force those texture options, or in other words, the options will reset after every build. At least, that's happened to me quite often, but it isn't a huge problem.

Also, Add me on msn if you haven't already roflol. If you have be more active / say hi sometime.

You can also make a cube with, like, 0.1 breadth or whatever... The BSB hole is so tiny it's unnoticable :P

if you're making that as a solid brush, I wouldn't advise it as it can lead to faults when the BSP tree alorithm is set to work, or you might get a lot of BSP problems around the area to put it simpler.

You know, if you use thick glass, why not just use a semisolid transparant wall? Actually just what Zacman said but just making it Semisolid, You'd save up on a brush and have no homs as semisolids don't cut solids.
