This is a basic guide to get MapVoteLA to auto detect the Monster Hunt gametype.

First, you need to install both Monster Hunt and MapVoteLA13 on the server. Follow the included instructions to get them installed on your server.

Once this is done, you need to connect to your server. Then login as admin, to do this simply type this in the console

adminlogin [yourpassword]

Then you need to open MapVoteLA and click on the "Admin" tab at the top.
Then check the box "Auto Detect";



Then click the save button



Then click the reload button



Then mapvote should close and you should see this message



Then when you open Mapvote again, it should look like this.

Which password we need to write??

Which ever password you have for your server, it'll be in the MonsterHunt.ini and UnrealTournament.ini under this section


[Engine.GameInfo]
AdminPassword=[password]

If your playing Monster Hunt, then it'll be the password in MonsterHunt.ini if your playing any other gametype, then it'll be in the UnrealTournament.ini.

is there any way of having la13 mapvote to stay on even if the server restarts as i cant be on admining 24/7

could i add it as a server actor would that keep it on even when server restarts do you think

Hm, I already learned how to use MapVoteLA.ini from Internet, those kids I think they have some problems with reading. There are a lot of examples about configuring mapvote, but they cannot handle basics in a server, what should I expect from them ? Such a guy contacted me for admin rights, he usually played in GOD mode, yea a strong guy no doubts. I changed admin password and bye, didn't see him a long time.
